Food Future Dreaming is a six-track EP that reimagines Kenyan food heritage through music.

Co-created with Kalenjin farming communities in Bomet and Baringo counties, Kenya, Food Future Dreaming travels across diverse musical landscapes ranging from traditional songs in new arrangements to experimental soundscapes.

The EP is paired with an interactive song archive linked to food and farming, co-curated with the same communities. Together, the EP and archive reimagine Kenyan musical heritage as a springboard for designing food futures grounded in community and place.

Food Future Dreaming is part of the wider research project Histories and Futures of Under-utilised Crops Reimagined.
